Yep, appears to be closed down for good. Anyone know anywhere else close by?

Alternative for me is tiny minnows north of Penetanguishene. Very out of the way and just bait. Bait bucket in Barrie. Again south when I go north. Jacobs who is hit and miss and trombleys who open too late. Very sad Pete is no longer thereís fesserton Always bought more than I needed just to try to help out. Glad Iíve learned to be less dependant on live bait. 1 other option is catch ya later in midland but those hippies are hardly ever around either and in the process of moving. Need a bait shop north on the 400 on the way to the big 3.

Dave.

Harold, you have lots of time and resources. You should sell minnows. Might help your catch rate too! lol

Wow. Too bad. I went there also, I grew up in Waubaushene! Huronia Bait was a landmark, pretty much.

I do know Trombly's has a bait shop, and they're usually open early, however they're in Orillia.

Jacob's Bait is located on Hwy 11 south of line 15 and north of line 14.Pretty well smack in the middle! He has been the wholesale supplier to all of the local baitshops in the area for many years. Oh yes he is in the northbound lanes heading north to Orillia.

Closest place in that area now would be CATCH YA LATER bait and tackle. He's a minnow harvestor like Jacobs so has good bait at a great price. He has a store on hwy 12 by Victoria harbor, and a store in Midland
