Planning to be in Severn area this weekend and was wondering if there has been a lot of snowmobile traffic / ice fishing in the area.

Any information is much appreciated

Heading to this area this weekend. Does any body have a report on ice thickness?

Haven't been out in waubashene yet but there's huts out there. You could give huronia baits a call they should know

Was at Huronia Baits on Saturday and a fisherman came in and he mentioned the ice thickness was around 10 around potato Island.

Hope this helps

I made it out in Severn Sound and the ice was about 12. There are permanent huts scattered all around.

There is not a lot of snow left on the ice so. Great for making ice but not good the the sliders on the sled. 🤥🤥

I went out 2 weeks ago and their was a solid 8-10 inches of ice. I was putting a big minnow off bottom with a big treble hook. Their was a few fish around but i was 0 for 10 right at the hole.

Ice fishing can be a tuff go. I alway run and gun. Fish structure and deep drop offs.
