Hey Chaz, check your PM.

The action is always a little slow in the afternoon, hopefully it will pick up in the evening. Tight lines

Hey chazD... are you guys using flashers or any electronics ? If so and your marking fish but they're not committing, use the smallest minnows or just the head. Have a great time bro. Oh, almost forgot, try a stinger hook.
Cheers!

Hey Chevy. Thanks for the tips. Yes we are using a flasher and I invested in a Marcum recon 5 underwater camera. They walleye are few and far between. Hoping the night bite is better.

Day 2. Very slow today only 2 walleye and a couple mud puppies today. It's a good thing we didn't count on a fish fry for one of our meals. Still having a great time, the weather has been great, service has been great and just hanging out with they Bob's has been fantastic. We still have tonight and half a day tomorrow to go so we are not giving up yet.

Been there man. I've been for a weekend before, and reeled in one perch and a small one at that. It can be disappointing but fishing sometimes isn't catching. It's those times that i think it's better not to have a sonar, because it's hard to convince yourself that the fish are there when the screen is blank for three days lol
