Put some miles on today. Still lots of snow in the fields. Only saw birds south where the snow was gone. Easy to find tracks in the snow and date them though

Males are strutting like crazy where I am. Noticing a few good long beards around this year.

I hear a couple gobbling here every morning and even saw two strutting last week in a neighbours driveway . Seemed odd to me since we still have snow . Was playing with Lucy and her squeaky toy at daylight while two were gobbling in the roost . Took her out an hr later and there was his fresh track in the snow behind garage right where we had played . That squeaky bear toy of hers may end up in my hunt pack . LOL TD
