Looks like fun , but i might add that those are our future steelhead, and although you treated them like the precious resource they are, pinching the barbs on your spinners, and fishing for them early and late will reduce mortality, they need all the help they can get with the oncoming heat wave

And to add , using a hemostat or needle nose pliers to release the fish while in the water can greatly improve their chance of survival .... Lots of fun but these young fish are very fragile ..

I love seeing young eager fishermen. Good on you for your love of fishing anything that swims. I share your enthusiasm and still love catching anything that swims. Expand your knowledge beyond just your excitement and listen to seasoned fishermen to get into bigger fish.

Please also donít fish for trout in this heat wave as mortality goes way up and dead Steelhead parr and smolts is not what we want for healthy rivers.

Good job on the video. Brings me back to my youth fishing the rivers and streams around Southern Ontario.

Keep it up and thanks for sharing.

Cheers.
