I kid you not. My grandparents, who resided on Carlaw Ave. in T.O would buy a carp at the"Jewish Market". This was back in the late 60's and 70's. I'm thinking it was the Kensington Market, but I'm not sure. They were immigrants from war torn Yugoslavia, nothing went to waste. Those carps I still remember as some of the finest meals Iv'e eaten. Was it the spices, I don't know.

Nice tank there! I remember catching carps and catfishs with a noodle rod and boy did it take me forever just to budge the fishes lol. Had to bend the rod all the way to the butt section creating almost a o-shape and even that didn't work
