Ok with the voting for the final lake done it's time to write the 2018 series schedule.
I have made a few rule changes this year which I will add to this post when I post the rules. I have also tried to narrow the lake choices down to smaller lesser known lakes. Most that I've never been on myself. This is to 1) take away the speed advantage that a bigger boat would have on a big lake and 2 try to narrow down the possibility any teams knowing all of the lakes. I'm sure some teams will have been on some of them but to truly know them all it's going to be much harder.

I've also tried to pick lakes that might not have the highest weights in terms of fish but are bass plentiful to make for a more interesting day on the water.

I've also tried to spread out the areas of the tournaments to accommodate the locations of the various anglers in the tournaments. This way not everyone has to travel as far for everyone. So some of the tournaments are north, some east and some central.

I was also able to finally book a 2 day tournament on Weslemkoon. It was a lot of fun last year with the top 5 teams finishing within about a lbs of each other. I rented a big cottage for the anglers in the tournament down this one since it is 2 days and the furthest tournament in the series so please reach out to me if you are interested in joining in on the cottage and splitting the cost.
Edit: it has 10 beds 2 spots left.

I will post more to this thread like rules and launch locations as I hear more back from marinas but as it stands here are the lakes and dates.

Please sign up here and tell me your team name and what lakes u want me to sign u up for. Cost per tournament will be 80 a team again. With all proceeds going to the anglers and towards plaques for the winners at the end.
Also there is a maximum of 25 boats per tournament so first come first serve. Thanks.

Matt

also please note that I have tried to get free launching where ever possible but am not always able too, in the event I cannot please use the launch specified for blast off. the marina's are helping us out by letting us hold the tourney's at their places and in some cases going out of their way to accommodate us and this is how they make their living. if we support them they will support us again in the future.

Thanks,

Matt

@ panda/ casting couch. That's the attitude I like to hear. I've got your spot for the koon.

@sabby I've never fished it for bass. Only for the pike tournaments and everyone seems to do well for bass while fishing for pike so I figured why not do it and on opener to boot. As for the rest well I've only fished the koon and chemung before so hopefully they're good.

@alpha lol

Nope back to back tournaments to start the season off right lol.

I tried to get lakes closer together so that it wouldn't be as far as a drive but the close lakes were by Cameron and not well known that I could find a launch for were in zone 15 which doesn't open until the week after.

For people looking for accommodations, the Cameron lake tournament on opener will be held out of sunny acres resort and offer both camping and cottages.

And I was wrong about the cottage on hidden cove for weslemkoon. It is 4 rooms and 10 beds. 5 beds are spoken for as of now so please let me know asap if u require one of those spots. It roughly works out to 90 bucks a person. And there is also crown land around for camping.

Thanks. Matt
