Power was out here for over an hr. Trying to remeber how to start my generator, or where to find the manual, so that we could keep the sump pump running---whew, glad that's over.

I can agree with Burlington, this is nuts. It's doing a number on my fence. I'm getting so sick of the wind we constantly seem to have here.

Running off the genny in the trailer in the driveway right now. Power out. Lots of tres and lines and signs down on the way home. But snug and warm in here watching Star Wars. May the fourth be with you!

Dave.

Was at a house that back onto cooks Bay east side... Their dock stuff was tied up away from the water... It's gone now incredible to see the lake up close with this wind.

that wind just shifted about an hour ago and the temp dropped from 26 to 12 in 45 minutes.

And just got a call from my group for the weekend that lost a roof and theothers had a tree crush their vehicle.wth

I've gone through 5 hurricanes before the age of 18 and except for the lack of continuous rain this is exactly what I remember, only on a smaller scale. Watching the trees being knocked around, it a wonder that a lot more didn't lose limbs or get knocked over. Good thing the ground wasn't saturated or there would be a ton of uprooted trees.

I lost 2 30 year old trees. Gonna take a long while to re grow these puppies.
One of them almost hit the house so i held it down with the achor rope then the dodge had to help cohurst it away from the house and fence.

it worked and nothing is broken luckily. Also I think I'm good for fire wood next year.
