That is awesome. I have been waiting all day for the fish porn. Now I have a big itch that I will scratch on Friday and I can't wait.

Was a FUN time out....of course we had a few stumbles along the way given first time out in the season....plus it is always tougher in -30 degrees

Lots of ice - 13-17 inches....and nice solid black ice....very little snow on lake given the cold temps coupled with blue skies the last week or so.

The slot is working great in my opinion...along with some of the other changes made as to harvesting fish. Catch and return lots, keep only a few - great strategy that has/will return Nip to an amazing fishery again.

Nice bunch of fish! I see a Jaw Jacker in one of the pics there. How do you like them? I just picked one up. Up until now I've made a few of my own but I wanted to see how a commercial version worked out.

So funny you should I ask. I just got the JJ over the holidays as I typically use a flag system for my 2nd line. I told Fishcahser I had one goal yesterday - catch a fish on the JJ. It didn't disappoint! Caught a number on it - missed none including perch. And that was with freezing temps/hole iced over as it was outside the hut. Next objective is to experiment with different presentations.
