Was thinking and hoping to be able to make the 30km run across the lake! anyone have any exp with this or knowledge? would it be safe or possible?..... Thanks in advance

I have done it many times many different ways. If you are cutting straight across be careful especially with this blowing snow. Pressure cracks come up from nowhere. Id suggest sticking to a trail if you can find one. If its snowy and blowy I recomend heading for Callander then to North Bay close to the west side of the lake.

If the snowmobile club has staked the lake, I would follow the markers till you hit land by Lavase River south of North Bay.
