Found out that the Marathon Court is a sub-location to the Thunder Bay Court.

Looked up the contact info for the Thunder Bay Court and no e-mail communication? You have to phone. As I have a very good long distance plan, I phoned and spoke with a very helpful lady.

To date the fine has not been paid and in fact he has 12 months to pay it.
With surcharges to the fine, he actually owes $16,317.50

If he doesn't pay within 12 months, he can request an extension, but would be required to make monthly payments.

If the fine is still outstanding after 12 months and no extension has been requested, or if monthly payments are not maintained, it is the MNRF procedure to turn matters over to a collection agency.

The lady I spoke with, said that from her experience, most of the fines get paid. Good to know.

I just made a note in my planner for April 2019 to follow up.
