Sunday was a perfect day to be out on the lake, the water was like glass right up until about the noon hour. Hit the lake hard with top water lures and was rewarded with a fairly decent smallie caught on a flat that gave me a pretty decent fight.

Thought I did pretty well until the neighbor across the road put up his post on our Weslemkoon facebook page.........a monster bucket that weighed in at a whopping 7.8lbs.

Released back into the lake to make someone else's day.

You would almost think someone spent some time photoshopping that picture!

You did pretty well. Your neighbour did something else entirely. Great fish, thanks for posting.

No worries Fatrap. The next time out there that huge Largie will be even bigger and on the end of your line

Glad you had a great day out and that's a nice looking Smallie
