You should do good for lakers. Try to fish 60 feet better. Pike are also there. Do you have the navionics mapping system. Have fun I'll be fishing lake Rosseau this weekend.

Unless you're fishing the tournament, I'd suggest you access the lake somewhere else, as it'll be a giant cluster-f, with the winter carnival and fishing tournament both going on this weekend!!! Have fun!

Thanks alot guys and yes i am going to give the tournament a try... ive been fishing kempinfelt bay the last few weekends so i have a bit of experience working with over pressured fish... i do have navionics and have been studying it for the last week but i do not kno the boundaries for the tournamnent yet so im not sure exactly where ill be fishing... ill most likely fish between 40-60 f.o.w. trying for whities on bottom maybe a rod for lakers half way down and then a tip of over 20 f.o.w. for pike or atleast thats the plan ive made up

That 7.9 laker will likely do well for you on the weigh-ins. It's a good fish for L.o.B. Catch the same one again tomorrow and you should be in some prize money!...congrats!!

I thought I would drive over from Huntsville way and buy lunch at the tournament area. Can anyone tell me where to go in Dwight?

Just after trading post and general store, Dwight bay road, turn right, there's the lake.
