Just got back from Casey's at pb for perch -wow - a lot of water on the ice. Even the caterpillar tracks on the argo he had were struggling to get through the heavy slush and water. It was probably a foot deep in some areas, If you want to go out from there bring your waders and cleats - very slick. Miserable day and a slow bite for us. From 8am - 4pm 6 keeper perch. If I have the chance to go on another day like this I wouldn't bother. Our hut was like "a river runs through it" there was actually current washing under the hut. Taj did a good job but the conditions weren't co-operating. After it firms up again it should be good.

I'm thinking most of it will drain off by today- but that's just a guess. You'll definitely want cleats though. And be bloody careful around cracks. I was checking for a safe place to cross one yesterday and almost went for a swim.

Should be easier walk with this freezing rain/snow mix. Rough up the surface
