I worked in the bush all day today just south of Parry Sound and there was about 2 or 3 that showed up to say hi. I’m sure by the weekend, especially with the rain we’re supoosed to get, they’ll be out starting to hunt for poor suckers working and fishing outside!

Hoping they take a long vacation, but most likely will not happen

No black flies in Haliburton this weekend but with warmer temps coming this week it won’t take long for them to start hatching.
