Black flies started around noon Saturday in the Gravenhurst area. By Sunday they were a little worse but nowhere near their maximum yet....but won't be long.

Certainly starting out strong around Kilworthy this weekend, just South of Gravenhurst.

Good luck on predicting where and when the flies are biting. Best to 'wear protection'

Hey there,

Saw your post regarding the flies in Dunchurch, just curious as to which lake your cottage is on. I lived on Whitestone for about 7 years, love the lake, love the area. If you are ever in need of some insight or helpful hints/tips to get you going on some fish let me know! Nice to touch base, hope to hear back from you.

Cheers

still no blackflies Carnarvon area.. maybe saw one or two. But had a few mosquitoes today. It feels really strange there are no bugs yet. should be breathing them in by now.
