Not too many places we haven't stayed at over the years in Martin River. Now we stay on a smaller lake in the area with no public Access...

I've been on that road many times and no way that would happen if driving responsibly...
Glad they got it out quick..

Buddy just came back from the Beav...not much happening. The Marten is on lock down. 1 small walleye, 1 pike over 3 days. Not much in the fish cleaning bucket either. Hopefully things pick up in the coming days.

Just got back from a 5 day stay at Beaverland. The weather was cold, windy with rain off and on. Which kept the bugs down big time! The slot system is working well in Marten Lake as the majority of our eyes were in the 18"-22" range. Action was on and off with a lite bite. Trolling harness and body baits, both effective. Saw action on bottom bouncers and jigging as well. Fish were caught all over the lake which is odd for this time of year. Great trip despite the crappy weather.

On a side note we got lots of reports that the Wicker was on fire during our stay on the Marten.
