Have to agree with steelheader textbook on the fillets for transporting your catch..
Great report as well.

thanks we usually do a little better but everything is a little later this year hope to get back up in a couple weeks should be good then you never know when the pesky warden will show up on the road out they seem to be around up north a little more just after walleye season opens always leave a little skin while transporting could save a big hassle down the road

don't know about you guys but i remember when i was a kid my mom used to put nylon stockings on my head so i could play outside so the bugs couldn't bite through not sure people from southern ontario know how brutal the bugs can be

Hahaha.....I just figured out yesterday why we were outside more, not watching tv......

At my house, we only had 'bush cable' ...3 channels...and a big stupid tower on the side of the house with a rotor box inside, where if you turned the big dial...."rurr, rurr, rurr, rurr, rurrr"..a couple minutes later, you could sometimes manage to get a 4th channel, with the picture all fuzzy, and lines moving through it from top to bottom, at varying speeds. We only had a few choices...watch 100 Huntley street, or The Littleist Hobo, or go outside!....,hahahah

Good fishing report Grampa, nice catch!
