Tried a few searches, may not have hit the right keywords.

Need to call on some elder knowledge.

Iíve got a boat 15í 20hp it lives at the cottage and has never been registered. After some increased MNR and OPP presence I think itís about time for me to get everything legit.

I donít have numbers and never have.
I have my pleasure craft operator card, have for years.
Both the motor and boat were purchased new a few years ago.

My question for the board elders who have probably been down this road is exactly what must I do to get numbers and who do I get them from?

Thanks in advance!

Get a 9.9HP cowling for your motor....

You still need ownership papers so there's no longer any point in circumventing the rules, it doesn't cost anything and keeps you legal.

FYI, your pleasure craft operator card has nothing to do with your boat registration. A lot of people get confused by that.
