Just checked her. She's fully iced over with some wet cracks here and there. Measured 2" of ice at the boat launch at the North side of the causeway by the Sip N Dip.

Checked her out again tonight in the same spot and she has grown. Didn't have a tape with me but it looked between 3-4" thick.

Tight lines

Anyone check the tickness recently? Drove by rotary park this morning but didn't walk out on it. No one was out on it, but it's gotta be getting close by now.

just got in no fish caught and the ice is still very thin at shore there was like 6 inches but we ventured out about 400 yards off shore and there was maximum 2.5 inches of ice.

best to wait till the new year to get out fishing not looking forward to getting soaked

Checked the ice again tonight by the Sip N Dip, had anything from about 6" to 3-3/4". Must have re-opened one of your holes pigeon lake angler haha. Saw some sled tracks too but I know I wouldn't want to be running on 2-1/2" of ice. Ya definitely not worth the risk, give her another week or two and she'll be ready. Might have to head North next weekend to scratch that itch haha

Tight lines boys

Went out for a few hours off Fifes bay road about 40 yrds off shore but did not get a bite. 2 other guys came by and said they'd checked the ice all over and mostly it was 2-3". A few spots their spud bar went through easily. No one else was out. So, I would not go to the middle yet.

It was 4 inches and seemed OK but we didn't want to venture too far out. Sorry forgot to mention that in the first post.
