spent the day on jack lake .... what a tough lake! very deep, lots of rocks, lots of islands should make for a good day if we can find them
word from the locals is there are some 7lbs largies swimming around
i doubt it based on what i saw (probably a sunken log)

Nice that u got a chance to scout/ prefish.

Disney check out the whole lake? Is it pretty much deep every where? If so I'm sure the fish just weren't out in the hot sun. I find that When people fish the kawarthas lakes lots they get used to finding fish in the weeds for shade but on none kawarthas lakes u might have to go deeper to find that shade since weeds aren't as think.

we didn't make it out to the main basin but most of the branches , and yeah it was hot they were tight up in cover as for depth it was 26 ft, 10 ft from where we launched according to navionics its deepest in the main basin at 37m so 120~ odd ft the weeds weren't terrible like southern lakes but there were lots and tall ones at 10-12 ft(~7-8ft tall) and even shorter stuff at 20+ft (~2-3ft tall)

Don't know how but somehow the first post of this thread got mostly erased.
It had all of the team names on it for the upcoming events :-(
