Bad picture but this is a woodpecker I could not identify.. Anyone hazard to guess?

If it was a brownish colour, it might be a flicker. Very hard to tell by the picture.

Nice fish caught

Always good fishing with friends and drinking wobbly pops!

No fishing for us on that beautiful weekend as we had a weekend of family parties. Was nice to see them again but spoiled a perfect weekend of fishing.

Hi Nicole, will let you know next time I am in town for some fishing. Sorry you couldn't get out, but family party sounds fun too..

I agree the woodpecker is either a small flicker or red bellied woodpecker. Yes it was light brownish belly with dark wings and a red area on the head..

It's ALWAYS a good time when Jerry comes to visit.

I got skunked shooting the exploding targets but I did go 3 and 0 on the tree rats.

For the record; exploding target results,

Looks like a great weekend, what is the plant? It almost looks like some sort of eelgrass.

It is called water soldier

It is very bad, it chokes out native plants and the edges of the blades are covered by sharp barbs, if you are swimming and your feet or legs get into it, it would scrape and cut you. Almost cut my hands removing it...

Thanks for the info.
