im not sure but i think there would be considering there is already open water on the green river that has a very weak current

The Narrows at Atherley have been open all Winter.

Open even more there now, because of the strong current.

You might be able to launch at Blue Beacon Marina.

If you do go out be careful of the current, it can be very strong.

Thanks boys I mean more to the mouth of the narrows Iíve just done the 2 hour drive before and it still had thin layer of ice in the spot but thanks agin

Open a few hundred yards either way. The Shannon st boat launch is still solid but like was said before you can probably get in at one of the marinas if they let you

oh I have seen it all freeze over years back, and yes sled went rippin right through...getting wider open there now, only boat launch in like said Blue beacon, will have less ice come perch derby time
