Went to port bolster with a buddy and was not disappointed! We blasted off from caseys at 10 am... little late but not to worry. Got some minnows minnows from taj, great guy! Left the shoreline on atv and the ice was superb.

Got to our first spot around 1030 just picked a spot that looked decent on navionics and both of us bag our pb perch! Mine 13.5 and my buddies was so big he thought it was a bass and threw it back I couldn't believe it we took a pic of it and when I was putting down my phone and grabbed my measuring tape, I said "let's get a measurement on that pig perch." That when his face just dropped lmao he 's newer so all we could do is laugh it off. After those two pigs it slowed down and only dinks we're coming through so we decided to head for deeper waters to get our limit of whites.

Travelled about 15 mins to get close to thorah and we set up on a nice shoal. I told my buddy let's drill 5 holes from shallow to deep and see what depth there active in, forgot to mention our first spot had to have been close to 30" of ice, my swede bore was at max length and the handle was rubbing the snow to get through! So when I said lets drill five holes he wasn't impressed. But after drilling the first hole and putting the sonar down we had marks lol thanked the fish lords for that one so I drilled my hole 20ft away and no kidding we had our limit in 30 mins, we also got our limit with a double header. Again I thanked the fish god lol

After that adrenaline rush we decided to head back for our luck at jumbos again so we setup on a shoal between georgina and thorah and had none stop action for the last three hours of our day. All in all this was by far my best day fishing and glad I could share it with a good friend. Our bag 25 jumbos, 4 whities, an absolute great finish.

Thanks for the comments guys it was an awesome day to end the season. Lots of my success is directly because of this forum and all the comments/replies from all the helpful people on this board. Just wanna say thanks to everyone, from Dave setting the m&g this year (and technically last year lol), to all the sponsors of this site and the bait shops that make our seasons this enjoyable. Till 2019 simcoe ice season, stay safe and tight lines guys.

Ps. Hey Db, I'm still coming for your whitefish title for the next m&g
