ok for this years rules they will be identical to lasts years with the exception of this year there will be an option to take a 3rd team member is 12 or younger.
I have gone back and forth about putting a speed cap on the tournament but will not be doing that this year. I feel that it is to close to the first tourney to add such a big change as with so many teams registered already it feels unfair to add that in now as some have committed to the tournament who might have not wanted to join had they known this rule was in effect. Just keep in mind that in 2019 there will likely be a 45MPH speed limit set.

as for the launches and launching fees. I have tried to get free launching where ever possible but sometimes I can't, and when I can't please remember that the places that are hosting us are helping us out and accommodating us based on an expected number of boats coming in as this is how they make their living. if you live on the lake I understand you not launching there but if not please try and launch at the launches where the tournament is being held so that they welcome us back in the future.

and as for times, I have written them in on the first post right beside each lake.

Tournament rules 2018 Gold Bass Series

1. Five fish limit per team.

2. Teams are consisted of a maximum of two teammates per team; however Teams are allowed a 3rd team member as long as one or more team members are the age of 12 or below

5. Largemouth bass and smallmouth bass are the only fish eligible for weigh in.

6. Size limit is 12 inches from the tip of the nose to V of tail. Fish less than 12 inches will be disqualified and a one pound penalty will be deducted from the total weight.

15. Entrants must have boats inspected prior to blastoff.

16. It is the responsibility of the competitor to pay any launching or parking fees that may apply.

17. In case of a tie the team with the biggest fish will take the higher place.

18. Each participant is responsible for their own safety and/or actions.

19. It is the responsibility of the competitors to know the rules.
