QUOTE (Knuguy @ Jan 11, 2018 - 12:27 pm)
Yipeee!!!

Took the words out of my mouth. Those catch ya later people have missed a big opportunity. I went by Sunday morning after 6 and they werenít up yet. They have wasted my time for the last time.

Went by today. Open. Pete has retired. The building is for sale. They have maybe a quarter of the stock. They did have minnows. Young guy working there. Said he would open 630 on weekends. Later weekdays. At least itís there for now.

Definitely not like the good old days when I could pull in at 5:40 on a weekday and Pete would come across the street from his house and open up. I am glad Iím not using live bait this year too often if at all. But I did grab a bunch of the fastach clips that only he seems to have around here. I spent $70 bux there so Iíve done my part to keep em open. Vibrados and a jigging rap and some crappie tubes.

Tiny minnows is great. But out of the way and would be great if he had even a little tackle.
My buddy and I want to go for pike but hard to find suckers or clubs.
