Spent 4 hours Saturday, and an hour Sunday and we landed 16 Walleye in Callander Bay - all 16-17". Looking promising! In 24.5 feet, seemed to be taking to chasing the bait and only striking after some coaxing.

Glow in the dark seemed to make a differences - buckshot/PKs, with dace.

Looking forward to getting a few for a meal soon (with some luck).

Awesome Joel. Just wondering if I would tip a buckshot with a minnow head or just jigging on its own? Any info would be helpful. Thanks

Cheers

Not too shabby at all. I'd be pleased with that outing

was out again today in the bay, two keepers with one closer to 19" and several again between 16.5 and 17.5" We were fishing 6-12' of water and they were hitting all afternoon, and the bite is light. As well we managed to pike that were about 7 lbs.

Put a minnow head on it! Gives it a better look, taste, and smell.

I have been using minnows tipped on my buckshots.
