Well,
Annual trip was a success.
We stayed at anglers Haven. Mark runs a great outfit.
Our bungalow was on about 28' of water. Clean, spacious and well equipped
Fishing in the bungalow was slow, with only one pickerel and several mud pups.
Action outside the hut was fairly steady on the tip ups, producing walleye every hour.
The best action was out in the day hut, with a dozen walls in less than hour.
Day hut was in about 18 fow.
In total we had about 30 fish, largest being 42cm, so no keepers.

Most walleye were around 38cm. And caught on
Pink buckshot, and Glo buckshots tipped with either minnow head or waxworms

Until next year, good luck boys!

Thanks for the tip on what to use. I talked to a guy who has his hut on Callander Bay the other day, he said he caught 48 walleye so far this year and no keepers.

Can't wait until all the through backs grow to 43+.

Cheers.

Thanks FatRap for correcting my typo. 46+ was what I meant. I'm heading to a lake tomorrow where we can keep them 43 and under. Hoping to get at least one feed of walleye this winter.
