hello fellow anglers, we had a decent weekend with Rob this past weekend. We iced approximately 70 eyes, no keepers, but close. I was surprised that we also were tagged with a bill for minnows that were supposed to be included, however, Rob adjusted the final amount once we talked it through. Rob's a great guy with a lot of great experience, he always tries to get you on fish, and always recommends where to go if you want to venture out. Thanks to Rob for dropping off some coffee! Last year, he put us on an amazing perch bite that was unbelievable! We ate 50 perch between 4 men, great fish fry! NO perch this year, NO pike this year, very strange, a first for this group. In the end, my group is split in terms of whether we will repeat with Hyatt next year, the experience was slightly different for each guy.

Went up with Rob Hyatt on Jan 12-14 this year and had a great time! Between 7 guys we caught over 190 fish (183 walleye)! 2 over slot, and one of those was an 8 pounder. Rob's always been a great host and treated us incredibly well as usual. We are already planning to head back up there at the end of the month for round 2!
