Thanks for the info 👍 just curious as to how long of a burn time you get from the little 1lb bottles of propane when using the buddy heater ? I have a 20lb bottle with the round top mount burner on top and it cooks me out of my 2 man pop up with in mins, buddy heater sounds like the way to go.

Is that with 1 or 2 bottles as the big buddy can hold 2. As I get aprox. 4 hrs on high with the the buddy heater

I got the hose and the 5 lbs tank from CT. Way cheaper in long run. Those green bottles aren't cheap

True. I refill my 1 pounders, but have been thinking of switching to a 5 pound tank

My 20lb tank and hose paid for itself in 2 weeks.
$105 for the hose and tank (filled) at Max Propane (only $35 for the 6' hose).
I used 12 or so of the 1lb tanks in January when I first got the heater and was way too annoyed with them after that to continue using them. I'll never look back.
I already had to have my 20lb tank filled last week with 3lbs left, and I only got it a few weeks ago. I think I figured I got a little over 100 hours out of it.
