We are heading up to lady Nip this saturday, staying untill Wednesday. I have barrowed a demo Marcum digital flasher and camera from a friend in the industry and the manual isn't with the flasher. As i have never used one, does anyone have any tips on srtting the sensitivity, contrast or a anything else to use accurately?
Any help i can get will be appreciated.

Cheers

The flashers are fairly easy to use but could take an hour to try and explain it on here, my best advise is to watch some you tube video on how to use it. Make sure the transducer is below the ice by a couple of inches and not in the hole.

Good luck and let us know how you made out.

Thanks fatrap, I just watched one and it seems straight forward. I will most definitely post how we do. This trip was a surprise birthday/valentines gift from my gf and she happens one of the most hard core fisherman Iíve met in my 40+ years on the water, so excited.

What I find works best is to lift your lure just enough of bottom so you can see a gap between the bottom and your lure on your flasher. When the gap fills/lights up that's a fish taking a look at you lure, slowly start to move your lure upwards. Usually, if the fish follows it up about a foot, get ready, they'll hit your bait.

Good luck!
