Well I pulled the trigger literally on a new crossbow. Been talking to a trusted member for his opinions on them. Watsonís has been in elmvale for over 30 yrs. went in last week and he told me he was closing up shop. Clearance has started. Pretty good deals, Iíd say 20-30 percent off now. The Excalibur I was going to buy was already gone so I went up 1. He has a few left. And some used firearms. No new firearm stock. He has quite a few collector Winchesterís as well. Accessories, ammo etc. Heís on queen st in elmvale right beside the gas station. Sad to see him go but glad to get a good deal!

That's a nice new toy. I will be up in Elmvale in 2 weeks. I hope he still has some new merchandise for sale. I love buying toys on sale. Sorry to hear that he is closing. I have been thinking about a crossbow. This may just be the excuse I need to buy it.

My grandparents lived right across the road from them for years. I used to go in to the shop when my grandma would put a Sears order in and I would go get it for her. And I'm pretty sure my grandfather bought his 870 from there, which ended up being my first shotgun and the one I shot my first deer with, as well as the one I will be taking turkey hunting next week.

That's too bad, my old hometown is loosing alot of businesses with the t.d. bank closing soon.

Went in again this morning. Picked up some accessories. Got a good deal. R.e.d.s., string, stringing aid, anti dry fire, bolts, field tips , broadheads and a few other small things. Figured I might as well buy now while on sale instead of when I need at regular price at a big box. He still has a few crossbows left and many Excalibur accessories.
