the new updated standings (by weight)
really the only 2 teams affected are me for losing a pound due to a dead fish and the Hawg Hunter and to that team I'm sorry for that but im sure they'll erase that weight any way with some 15lbs bags

also can everyone please weigh in opinions on what to do for the 2 day Weslemkoon event, all feedback / suggestions are welcomed.

thanks,

Matt

Weslemkoon, for the standings, you should treat as two separate events. That way if a team does well both days they can count them as two of the three best finishes. Adding the total together and counting it as one event is ridiculous.  Iím also fine with using just the best weight from either day if you prefer that.

Cheers,

AA.

the best of both days, i like that. i like that alot actually. u finally came up with a good idea lol.

as for it going by weight now though. i lost a pound now due to a dead fish top 3 would have been within a pound of each other.

Best of the 2 days sounds good.
I'm sure everyone's keeping an eye on the weather for this Saturday. If there's lightning all day do you move or cancel. Also a heads up their calling for high winds so waves will be large and dangerous for any tin boats

im pretty easy to please but i do think i like the best of two days for the coon makes it more exciting if one team is sitting in first day one and have the potential to either tank or run away with it on day two but on the other hand counting it as two events sounds good but how would it pay out 1/2 one day and 1/2 the other or biggest bag of the weekend pays ?

As a 2 day tourney, both days constitute one tourney. So the winner would be who evers 2 day combined weight is the highest. Counts as one tourney so only one winner and one entry fee for both days.

I'm terms of the series one day in the 2 day tourney would count as one day and so what alpha and guru are suggesting are that each one of those days could count as a day for the standings in the series where it's the top 3 weights plus the gold bass tourney to determine the winner.

I know many people have taken off the weekend for the event so I think unless absolute hurricane winds it best to just to go ahead with it. In saying that everyone will have to use their better judgement for sure to keep safe

the rain amounts keep dropping. Monday they were calling for high winds and 15mm of rain, and thats a shitty day. But now they are saying maX 22km winds and only 5mm of rain throughout the day and that is doable. Who knows, by sat morning it might be saying blue skies and no wind, you cant trust those weather morons.

Gbay you can find alot of places to get out of the wind and still catch them,, i hope
