Feb 23-25 Report

Another amazing weekend. The fishing has been by far the best we've experienced in the past 5 years. Caught too many walleye to keep count of, managed only the one keeper in the picture below (it was 54cm). Also got one of the nicer pike I've had up there. But the highlight was the outstanding perch fishing. Caught around 40 over the weekend, 30 were great size and made it to the fry pan.

Taking this upcoming weekend off and then back up March 9th for the last weekend of the year. Looks like pulling the hut off won't be too difficult with the lack of snow this year. It was slick out there most of the year.

Um, you are aware the slot size is over 46cm not under 54cm?
