Poacher caught

Idiot, retard. There is no reason to catch lots of fish. You have to fish how much you can eat, no more than that.
Fish spoil very fast and the oxidized cholesterol in fish meat promote arterosclerosis.
Fats in meats oxidize faster in this order: fish, chicken, pork, lamb, beef. The best fat to eat is fish but is the most perishable one. You have to eat it fresh. Even if you store it in sealed vacuumed bags in dark frizer the meat/fat will become oxidized in time (months). Stay away from non-fresh fish meat. Mind your limit.

Pork, lamb or beef can be kept longer in refrigerator but not the fish meat.

For reference watch this:
Cholesterol Oxidation

The news says, and I quote:

"They also learned the man didnít have a valid Ontario Outdoors Card or a fishing licence. As a result, he was fined $3,000 for not having a fishing without a licence and another $2,000 combined for possessing a spear within 30m of the waterís edge and using an artificial light to attract fish."

fined $3,000 for not having a fishing without a licence? I don't think I understand what this is all about:-)

I don't believe this guy didn't know the rules.. purposely poaching like a thief robs a bank.. of course they know it's wrong.. he's not worried about freezing these into little baggies in the freezer. Maybe some $$ in his eyes to sell fish but it backfired so now he pays! Glad he was caught..

http://www.chathamdailynews.ca/2018/06/04/...leated-offences

"A Montreal man has been fined a total of $5,000 for fishing-related offences that took place in Erieau on Aug. 17, 2017.

According to a media release issued Monday by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, Van Lao Nguyen was found by conservation officers with 33 large mouth bass, 41 crappie and 10 panfish in three plastic coolers. The conservation officers also found him with a spear and a spotlight to attract fish while in an inflatable motorized boat.

Nguyen pleaded guilty after his matter was heard before a justice of the peace in Chatham on May 24.

He was fined $3,000 for fishing without a licence, $1,000 for possessing a spear within 30 metres of the water's edge and $1,000 for using an artificial light to attract fish. His fishing gear was permanently forfeited and he is prohibited from fishing for five years."
