Wondering how the lake conditions are after all of todays rain. If someone could keep me updated that would be great.

Thanks!

I checked the lake this morning. It doesn't look as bad as I thought it might be. There is still about 2" of soft snow over top of about 2" of slush/water but after it freezes the lake surface will be rock hard. My shack has a nice 4" moat all around that I could use as a live well.
I measured the ice thickness as compared to yesterday's measurement and there is no difference.
For those who cross over pressure cracks make sure the path is good to go first, it gets expensive when you use your vehicle as an ice sounder.

Thanks buddy for your input! When do you think we can expect everything to freeze over again?

Thanks

Its been a week of mild weather, how is the ice doing? Are people starting to move their ice huts closer to shore now? How think is the ice out on sunset?
