Hey!
1st time posting but have read quite a bit in the past. A bit shy I guess.
Had a great time fishing on Sunday through Casey's Ice Huts.
We were in about 30fow and bite was consistent but unfortunately a lot were too small and let go.
I've chased all kinds on hard water and this past year and a couple of times this year have gone back to Simco.
Glad I didn't walk as the 2 newbies would have had a rough day. Lots of snow.
Hut was great. Comfortable car seats inside.
The large one is about 12".
I have to work on filleting as I wasted a lot of good meat and managed just 3 tacos.

That tacos look delicious! How did you do it? Did you first pan fry or deep fry the perch fillet?

Never a bay day at Casey's. Looks like you did well.

I had brought everything with me to make the tacos there but we ran out of time.
I pan-fried the fillets (need bigger fillets) with Cajun flavoured flower. Smeared some guacamole, added coleslaw, Pico de gallo and a couple of jalapeno peppers.
They were delicious but a bit spicy.

Thanks! Sounds good and looks delicious. I will have to try this next time I get some perch. And did I mention I love spicy stuff:-)
