I am not the best at finding Morels and have just gotten into it a couple of years ago. I have found zero this year until today. Itís so late in the season I was SHOCKED. the size also threw me for a loop. I have never ever seen them this big not even in photos on line.

Anyone else ever find them this big.

BTW my hand is in a Large size 9 glove. These Morels look like they are being held by a smurf hand. Lol

Morels ?? They look more like small evergreens , Congrats on harvest but they look like past their prime ..

Oh they are a bit older and not for the frying pan. I am dehydrating them and turning them into a powder for soups etc. As long as they are not slimy and have that nice distinct Morel smell they are great for powder stock.

I found 1 single giant one on the front lawn 2 weeks ago. Very strange. Never had them there before and only the one, but the size of about 6 regular ones.
