westarm love your attitude, it infectious. Especially when you get your lies in order, remember to cold, to hot, wind from the east, wind from the west etc, etc.

Just got my rods together

lol, love it!! sweet collection! clearly well taken care of too!!

my wife doesn't even ask anymore why I could possibly need another rod or reel, let alone tackle!!

I tell her, if I was a golfer I would have to have more than one club so to tell a fisherman he only needs one fishing rod is being a little prejudice don't you think? lol. actually she doesn't care, I am lucky that way.

thanks for reminding me antique. EXCUSES!! you provided some of the best!! that's a whole different part of the checklist! lol.

the lies are different.....my favourite.

spent 40 minutes fighting the biggest muskie of my life, just got him to the surface when out of the corner of my eye I spot a duck drowning because he is all caught up in fishing line, I dive off the boat to untangle and "save the ducks life" while holding the fishing pole and trying to fight the muskie without losing it, the moment I get the duck free the muskie spits my believer and eats the duck instead!!! crazy day!!

I had a night shift last week and with all the non stop rains the worms were out full force. Had me wishing the season was open so I could hit up the lake in the morning after work.... not much longer to go

indeed michelle! and at the price being charged for a dozen worms these days it gives a whole new meaning to "slow death" lol

I still remember as a kid asking my dad for a buck {it was a paper dollar then, lol} to get a dozen worms, he didn't know but they were 75 cents actually, the extra quarter bought me a coke.

11 days left!!

Friday morning leaving early from Milton will be on the water at first light. Can't wait, some walleye but really looking to hook into a nice BIG gator.

But Friday night will be at the Lavigne Tavern, Jack de Keyzer will be playing - great blues player and winner of a couple of Maple Blues Awards

Be safe on the water
