> oxtongue lake, tips/tricks

We rented a cottage on Oxtongue lake just outside of dwight for a week in july from my understanding there is pike/small mouth in the lake i was wondering if anyone had and tips they could share so i can hook into a few fish

Lots of pike and some with good size, north end is shallow and weedy same with south end, also lots of bass around find some rocks should find some fish.. Fishing can be hit and miss but I have never been skunked, don't see that many anglers out on the lake but can get busy with people doing water activities.
