Here's a thought. . .

Who gives a sh1t if it's legal or not? Do what you want in this case as you aren't harming anyone. If you get a ticket, just deal with it. Odd are it won't happen anyway.

It's legal to drink inside the hut/minimum proximity (close to the bbq, outdoor holes) if you're staying over night and the hut is equipped with sleeping, cooking and washroom facility. If you get a ticket for any of these, take it to court and it will be dropped.

I always drink inside the hut, finish my can then head outside the hut, smartest and safest way to do it to avoid any problems. It also doesn't hurt to pour your beer/alcohol inside a plastic cup, coffee mug etc to avoid situations. Also don't have any snowmobiles on-site while drinking, chances are they will give you a ticket thinking you will drink and then hop on the snowmobile.

At the end of the day, just stay inside the hut and consume your alcohol, and you will be fine.

The MNR isn't there to see if you are drinking. They want to know you have your licence and stay within fish limits etc. The OPP on the other hand may not be so kind. Chances are you will have a visit from MNR rather than OPP. Drink responsibly and have a good time. Enough with government dictating what you can and can't do all the time. If you are drinking then don't chance operating any kind of vehicle as that one drink may put you over and you don't even realize it. Just not worth it.

I find it amazing how many people can't function without the booze. It's not like you're crawling in bed with a cougar and waking up to a coyote.

I can function without pants too, but why would I?

Iím with you hardlycore. If wanna drink and donít have to drive and itís not hurting anyone then have at er. If I fine comes your way than thatís that. Might as well fill the hut with some smoke also! I donít mean cigarettes.

Agree 100%, I drink beer not because I have to have it and cannot function without it. I like beer and I drink it occasionally, as a matter of fact I function better without it. Just my 2 cents.
