Out from Keswick in 15’ of water. Was pretty much a mud bottom in a break in contours. 12’ all around us but this one trouph. And it not a bar fridge, not full size but not tiny. Added a pail shot. It really was a great day. Second time in exact spot and both times produced.

I was using a golden shiner 7g Vibrato with a Berkley power grub as a drop shot in glow and a JigginRap, the smallest one in parrot with a minnow head, but got just as many without the minnow head. My son was using a 3.5" rubber paddle tail swim bait and a RippinRap with minnow head. Also got a few on the Perch talker.

Thanks for sharing all the information, very unusual but greatly appreciated. Personally it tells me that there are options to what I use. Thanks again.

I don't hand out all the intel or pinpoint my location but I believe we should share our knowledge, especially with our kids and new people getting into fishing. I did my research and a lot of leg work to get onto fish of all species. Next up is whities, that will be for next year when I will get a sonar to help chase them down. Will always throw in some perch days though.
