Beauty sunset pics! Sunset on the ice is the best especially when you get patches of slick ice. Nice fish, too!

Day 2...beautiful morning. Woke up at 6am to get the day going. Sunny and clear with a bit of wind. The morning was extremely slow in one area but in another, the perch were biting like crazy and my cousin caught a 6lb small mouth.....don't find too many bass biting during this time of year. In total so far, another 25 perch and 13 pickerels (the largest being 42cm...just under slot)....hopefully more to come tonight....tight lines!!!!!

Thanks MCL83!!! You will have a blast. The ice is perfect but no snow on it. The jumbos are still biting like crazy all three days and hope you catch a lunker in the process...tight lines!!!

Was Lake Nipissing Ice Charters moving you guys around from bungalow to bungalow and into day huts to keep you on the fish over the weekend? Just wondering because every picture you posted it looks like you are either in a different bungalow or in the picture with the bass you are in a day hut? If so that is commitment by the operator.

I see you posted a picture of a smaller bass, did you get a picture of the 6lber you caught?

Sounds like you had a good weekend.

Thank you for the reply FatRap. We were in our regular sleeper hut and they allowed us to use the day huts at anytime if they were not in use. We have been going to them for about 6 years now and they have no problem with us using other huts, if they are available. Anything we need, they are always there to help.

The bass is the picture but it is looks smaller than it was LOL

The keeper pickerel and pike are in our sleeper hut and the bass and the first pickerel picture with me is in the day hut.

We had a great weekend
