So. Holed up in the Canadian Tire automotive in Barrie waiting for a couple of tranny tubes that connect to the rad so that the Traailblazer will stop leaving red puddles at OnRoute stops. Could have been worse timing I guess. Had I not noticed, Another hour on the road and it might have drained to the point of serious damage in a really inconvenient spot.

My bro' is getting restless 'cause we should have been north of the French by now on the way to West Arm. Oh well, he'll feel better about things when he sees the scotch selection.

On the brighter side, the other carload of guys is probably already on site, and pulled pork is in the crock pot by now. Ironic thing is none of them are fishing - we know that 'cause all the actual tackle is up on a hoist. More vertical than horizontal mileage on the Chevy....

Good news is I predict a huge bite after dinner, the mechanic seemed optimistic, and as tranny work goes the tubes are reasonable to fix. In theory. Once they arrive from the warehouse.

Who knows. Legendary trips sometimes start out this way.....

"The bro" here. We're on the road again thanks to Ron at Canadian Tire on Bayfield Street in Barrie.
ETA 5:15 p.m., hoping to catch the evening bite.
