Hello again my friends, hope everyone is well and getting ready for their favorite Spring and summer species. I was fortunate enough to get out on Georgian Bay this week for three days in succession and was able to muster up a total of 23 Walleye for the three days.I used a willowleaf Chartreuse worm harness and dew worm mostly and a Chartreuse blade spinner topped with a worm on occasion. I would say the fish gods were rather generous as I was able to keep three of the walleye and a decent Crappie which happened to inhale my worm harness as nice table fare.My only complaint they would not bless me with a fish over the slot Size,22" and over.Oh well they all taste the same,so I settled on the two fifteen inches a 12" Crappie and a 13.5" walleye. Waters are warming quick now after three really warm days,so now I'm seeing lots of Garpike,Carp and Bass starting to show up amongst the Walleye.Spring is wonderful when you get great weather and your out Walloping Walleye! Until next time, have a Crappie Day!
