Got out today grouse hunting seen 8 birds but only got 2 they seem to be very skittish i did not know if they were in trees or on ground so it made it hard to spot them they were in both places we also have about 6 " of snow on the ground but a mild day hoping to get out 1 more time before December 31 closing. Here is the video Link and pic.

Good shooting. I was able to make it out 8 times this year, seen 16 got 10. My best day was seen 6 got 4. The birds are way down from last year. Lets hope for a dry spring.

Nice! I just got myself a Bearcat 7000 snowmobile. Always wanted to try grouse hunting with a sled. Hopefully I'll get my chance after Christmas. Glad to see lots of birds out there still!

Birds close 31 Dec, so you better get out there while you can. It's always a great day to go ice fishing and bring back a bird or two which you stumbled upon while getting to the lake.
