Mostly hunting related but some fishing related charges as well. Shouldn't we be getting better at this stuff?

Every day there are more idiots born, some grow up and try their luck at hunting and fishing and then some become politicians where there are no rules.

Wow what a list. Didn't know mnr can ticket you for this though.
failing to wear a proper helmet while operating an off-road vehicle.
Glad the boys in green are doing their jobs!

CO's are cops, they can ticket you for any violation, not just fishing or hunting.

I get it but I didn't realize they can enforce the highway traffic act. I am just saying I find it a little odd seeing as a few years back I rented an over night hut on Simcoe and since there were no customers the next day I was allowed to fish it free of charge the next day. Well he came to fish for a bit with me and the next thing I know we had 6 or 7 COs pull up right in front of us for a breather. We shot the breeze with them (after a thorough check of our fish by a very attractive female officer) and they were telling us stories about stupid things they saw people do that day. One guy pointed to a permy and said the guy in there can't even see the hole due to the amount of weed smoke in there, another guy has a 60 of whiskey in another hut, thief guy had 4 herring on the ice and was trying to convince the officer they were whitefish (2 over the limit but still whitefish...) and so on. I asked if they do anything ever when they encounter drunk and high people and they said unless a oppofficer is there with them for a ride they only handle fishing violations. If the person is too rowdy they call the opp and wait. That's what threw me off about the helmet. Didn't think an mnr officer would care that much and was able to enforce it. Grumpa thanks for the read. States it right there in black and white.

Quite the list, good to see the MNR out there getting the job done. For some this is the only way they learn, for others it is an eye opening experience.
