Whenever One of my customer say they go fishing Wabeshing Port Severn or anywhere in Georgian bay I ask [ 0 ]  [0.00%]
Do You Know the Limit ? [ 2 ]  [50.00%]
Most of these fisherman think the limit is 6 on a sport licence [ 1 ]  [25.00%]
I correct the 100% of the times [ 1 ]  [25.00%]

Simple questions with no simple answers ..

Georgian bay with all it's extremities and river inlets , bays, and geographic areas has many different regulations governing size limits , daily and possesion limits, bait types and protected areas ..

It is of utmost importance to check your " Current Regs" before fishing any body of water in Ontario and GB is no exception ..

Guys, Be careful out there ...know your regulations ..

Georgian Bay is roughly 15,000 km2.....

Needle in hay stack asking what the limit is on Georgian Bay.

Best for them to check the regs for that specific area they are going to target espically

in and around connecting bays , rivers , inlets where pike would be hanging out.

I dont fish G bay (zone 14) for Pike at all. The regs state

2 in one day and a possession limit of 4 with only one fish greater than 34”.

1 in a day and a possession limit of 2 with only one fish greater than 34”.

Very straight forward until you read the exceptions to the above stated regs. The most important thing to know is if you are in a section where exceptions apply. Good news is most of the exceptions that effect the above stated regs are sanctuary dates. Only one section of the St Marry’s Area allows for Pike of any size.
