Headed to this area in a couple weeks and new to the area. Typically fish Cooks Bay but wanted to try something different. Was wondering if anyone could let me know if there are any known bad ice areas????

We travel with snowmobiles and would like to be aware of any dangerous spots. For instance is off the point of Duclos Point an issue? Can you pass between there and the island?

Also any general areas that might be good for perch would be great but more looking for ice issues.

Thanks

anything can happen in two weeks.

Wait till a few days before heading out.
Nobody can forecast that far ahead

Ice is over a foot thick across the bay.
