LOL, you guys are funny.
Good luck to everyone that makes it out on Friday. (kidding). To Rybak, thanks for the reply. You say snowmobilers wont be reading this thread! but cant snowmobilers also be fishermen? Anyways, you sound pretty miserable.

Goodluck, to everyone else.

Let us know how it went if you go out on Saturday.
Ice should be better than last year but as always need to use caution.

Tight lines!

Have you been on Lake Joseph

The rich don't fish.

And I am not miserable.
I'm passionate.
The internet is just the kind of tool that can not show feelings.
It can make you sound happy, sad or miserable.

Take it as you want.
Either way, you will find out Saturday what the conditions are like unless you cop out and wait for information before you waste your valuable time and gas money to go exploring on your own.

That is my two cents.
I'll be out there come hell or high water.

I'll wave to you as I drive past the north tip of Reef Island on my machine.

Was out for opener on Lake Joe Saturday. Lots of hits but appearred to be small lakers. Landed a small laker. It was very busy at Footes Bay with no land parking left at 9 am. Must have been 15 vehicles parked on the ice together close to a boathouse with a bubbler! Not my idea of a parking spot.

Had an awesome opener. Caught 3 lost 2 monsters. My fish weighed 1lb 8oz, 2lbs and 2lbs 2oz. There was 8 of us out there half had sonars and 5 caught fish. Lots were lost. I lost 2 huge one's which cost me biggest fish but I still won first fish and most fish so a good payday at the least.

My previous 2 outings going for lakers have not been good for me as I came home empty handed. So I thought third time will be a charm, lol.

With only the morning to fish the opener on joe, I got to the lake early and set up. Didnít mark much just the odd one once in a while. Drilled 4 holes and the last hole produced my first laker of the season. A good size eater at over 2 pounds. Fished from 50-80 feet of water.

On Sunday, I was able to meet up with fellow board member Knuguy. Had a great time with Harold....Some good action in the morning, marking more and the fish seemed to cooperate. We landed 6 and lost a few. 3 eaters were iced. Fished from 45-75 feet of water. Great weekend to be out. Pics to follow.

The weather was good, the scenery was good, the company was good----the fish were a nice bonus. I have always had a positive experience meeting board members. Too bad you had to leave a bit early---mind you, I didn't have a bite or even mark any after you left. My 'permission slip' was good until 6 PM but when I catch fish I can show up any old time.

It was nice to see so many families out, esp the kids.

The fish were delish and had a better color than the ones I have caught this ear on Ross.

H ere are a couple of 'non-fish pix/
